ASP MS SQL Database Ecommerce Web site

Happy Soul Bath Products
The owners of The
Happy Soul already had a web site with
a product database built using ASP and MS Sql database.
They felt that it needed a fresh, new look and they
wanted to add a secure shopping cart.
No Need to Start from Scratch
The reason I got the job was that I was willing and able
to build upon their existing ASP code, complete with a password-protected
administration area, and their MS SQL database that was fully
populated with all of their products
This set me off from my competitors who often choose to
take the easy route by starting from scratch.
Without affecting their current production system, I created
a second database, a copy of the original, and made all modifications
there.
The shopping cart functionality was seamlessly integrated
into their site -- complete with the following features:
- Discount coupons
- Integrated shipping calculations with UPS & Fed Ex
- Multiple payment options (credit card, Pay Pal, invoice,
check, fax)
- and much more
Web Hosting Migration
A month or two later, the owners called to say that they were
fed up with the problems they were having with their email
through their current web hosting solution.
They asked if the web hosting that I provide would solve their
problems?
I felt confident that it would because I have been providing
this state-of-the-art web hosting solution for several years
and have been nothing but impressed with their customer service
and proactive problem-solving attitude.
